H2 & CO2 Distribution
Imagine an economy with plenty of Hydrogen for end users, large and small. A w2e “depot” facility
dispenses H2 and CO2 to customers with regular needs, including H2 filling stations for cars and trucks.

On-Site H2 Production
For large Hydrogen users with large requirements, w2e can develop dedicated on-site facilities to produce
a minimum of 25 TPD of H2. For petroleum refiners, steel mills, metropolitan transit fleets and other industries.

Electricity for Data Centers
Data center construction plans have been hard hit by a lack of available grid electricity. w2e can produce

w2e Hydrogen Production Fundamentals

Each modular “cell” outputs about 1 ton per day of Hydrogen. Fixing and targeting 1 tons per day of Hydrogen output across varying feedstocks is accomplished by inputting different volumes of each feedstock.

Efficiency: 85–93% Hydrogen yield from organics.

w2e uses sulfur-iodine (SI) cycle for Hydrogen production.

w2e uses hydriodic acid (HI) to produce electricity.

Exothermic reaction means no added heat or electricity is needed.

Avoids high-temp of processes like steam methane reforming (SMR).

Not pyrolysis or gasification – Formation of Dioxin/NOX is not possible.
Feedstocks
The process works with a wide variety of feedstocks.
To make our target of 1 ton per day of Hydrogen per “cell” module, the following tons per day (TPD) volumes of feedstock must be input:

The availability and price of feedstocks will vary by project and geography. Because of this, the contracted price for the Hydrogen or electricity w2e produces for a project will vary (and can vary significantly) based on the type of feedstocks we can secure and the feedstock agreements we enter into.

All plants use the same two primary building blocks.
-
1) Hydrogen Production: The process starts with a feedstock processing and conversion system, which results in the production of Hydrogen and CO2.
-
2) Electricity Production: We then run Hydriodic Acid (Hydrogen & Iodine) through Hydrogen gensets to create the electricity to power the plant off-grid.

We call the building block a “cell”. Each “cell” produces 1 ton per day of clean Hydrogen by controlling the volume of feedstock we input. Achieving target plant output of Hydrogen is a function of the feedstock processed and the number of “cells” used.

When considering the construction of a plant, our modular approach allows us versatility and flexibility.

We can build plants to primarily sell Hydrogen, which have just enough Hydrogen gensets to power the plant.

We can build plants to primarily sell electricity. Or we can do both. (All plants are constructed to produce electricity sufficient to power the plant.)

Most other system components are “off the shelf”.
Low-capex & Low-opex

Compared to w2e, other solutions have construction and processes which require much more costly equipment to build and many more steps to operate.
